This 1958 audition tape was probably recorded while Bob was at WHKK in Akron.  Its not clear if this was an actual aircheck or a recording made specifically as an audition.

6.  The Complete Coverage of the Complete Coverage on WCFL, Chicago

This is from a 45 rpm WCFL pressed to demonstrate the quality and the quantity of the station's coverage of a major blizzard in January, 1967.
This was presumably distributed to station clients and ad agencies.

Unfortunately, Bob is not heard on this recording, as it precedes his arrival at WCFL by several months.  However, the recording does convey the size and professionalism of the news department Bob was about to join.

This very scratched up 45 was professionally restored by Dave Plotkin, Production Director at 1010 WINS.  He is available for your restoration project and he can be reached at radiodave78@aol.com
